In this course participants will learn:
- Brief history of 3D printing, what types are currently available and their most common applications
- How to use, maintain and repair filament 3D printers
- How to prepare digital models for 3D printing
- How to post-process 3D prints
- How to design parts to be 3D printed using CAD sofware (OpenScad and FreeCad)
- Learn about the applications of 3D printing for research and education
